Steven Ditto

Steven Ditto is Director of Intelligence Services at The Soufan Group. He oversees TSG’s investigations and advisory practices for business, legal, and security clientele. 

Prior to joining TSG Steve spent a decade in the international affairs space, including as a consultant to the US Government Intelligence Community. In this role Steve was trusted to bring outside expertise to assist in confronting the most pressing of national security and law enforcement challenges facing the United States including in the areas of counterterrorism and transnational organized crime, among others. Additionally, from 2013-2014 Steve was an Adjunct Fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy where he authored research and analysis related to nuclear non-proliferation, political leadership decision-making, and negotiating strategy.

Steve is an expert in open source intelligence (OSINT) research and tradecraft and has a track record of delivering impactful insights to private sector stakeholders including C-Suites, in-house and outside counsel, security teams, and compliance and human resources departments. Steve’s areas of focus include due diligence, litigation and arbitration support, industry intelligence, security and safety, and executive advisory.

Steve is an alumnus of The George Washington University, as well as a proud alumnus of the AmeriCorps Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA) program.
