Bringing the expertise and experience of an international cadre of intelligence, law enforcement, military, and security professionals, The Soufan Group is capable of providing project-based and long-term support services as well as training courses focused exclusively on the training needs of the maritime industry:

• Maritime Security Course: This course provides professional security training for overall port operations, to include Port and Vessel Security Assessments; Cargo Facility Security, Customs and Border Protection, Crisis and Disaster Response Emergency Planning; and Operational Security Staff Training.
• Maritime Counterterrorism Course: Designed primarily for government employees, this program prepares students to be members of a maritime Counterterrorism (CT) or Crisis Response (CR) teams. The objective of the comprehensive curriculum is to build air and oxygen diving skills; enhance confidence in conducting maritime CT operations while underway or at anchor; prepare coxswains for high speed boat operations; and introduce students to breaching and various Methods of Entry in the maritime environment. Heavy emphasis in placed on practical training and exercises to accelerate skill development and forge long-term behaviors.
