This course provides students with the comprehensive skill set required to successfully conduct interviews and interrogations and elicit accurate and reliable information.

The course comprehensively teaches the specific techniques and approaches that are unique to interviews and interrogations, along with the auxiliary skills needed.

Body language interpretation, elements of truthful and deceptive behavior, and questioning techniques are all covered in depth via lectures and practical application.

Specific emphasis is placed on the development and appropriate use of interview and interrogation skills along a variety of interpersonal, cognitive, and emotional strategies and techniques.

Students are taught the primary points of influence on subjects, and how to manipulate those points of influence to gain cooperation. These include, but are not limited to, the subject's sense of isolation from his or her support base, their need to feel respected and valued, and their impression of the evidence against them. Students are also taken through successful real-life interviews and interrogations.
