Donald F. Borelli, who retired last week as head of the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force in New York, today joined a private security consulting company headed by Ali Soufan, another notable FBI agent who worked against al-Qaeda.
The Soufan Group is pleased to announce that Don Borelli is joining the strategic consultancy as a Senior Vice-President. Mr. Borelli is a 25-year veteran of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), where he held high profile leadership positions, including Assistant Special Agent in Charge in the New York Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF), and was responsible for top investigations and counterterrorism missions that spanned the globe.
December 19, 2011 - The transcript and video of Ali Soufan's October appearance before the House of Commons' Home Affairs Committee is now available on The Soufan Group's website. Mr. Soufan was invited to give evidence on the roots of radicalization, and also discussed with MPs the so-called Arab Spring and the current situation in the Middle East.
